Mr. Tim Schlößer
Former Head of Office, European Parliament,
Policy Expert

Tim Schlößer received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Humboldt University Berlin as well as a Master’s degree from the University of Bonn. During his studies Tim spend semesters abroad at Duke University (US) at ENSAE Paris and at Keio University (Japan). He focused on Behavioral Economics and Economics of Inequality as well as social welfare enhancing applications of Distributed Ledger Technology, which culminated in two publications on the matter. After completing his degrees, Tim started working in the European Parliament as Political Advisor to a Member focusing on EU cohesion, youth and space policy. Besides his active engagement in drafting legislation, he worked as head of the office, leading a team of seven staff members. Tim is convinced that technology can be utilized for the social good, and is eager to unleash this potential.
