With over two decades of experience in eCommerce, legal tech, and regulatory technology, Markus Kluge brings a strong foundation in bridging complex legal requirements with scalable technical solutions. Prior to co-founding tokenforge, he successfully led Protected Shops and janolaw as CEO, where he specialized in automating compliance processes and developing documentation platforms for regulated markets. At tokenforge, Markus is responsible for the product architecture and the seamless integration of compliance within the TokenSuite, ensuring full alignment with European financial regulations. His deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, combined with a holistic approach to product development, shapes the foundation of tokenforge’s end-to-end tokenization infrastructure. tokenforge is a Hamburg-based technology company specializing in the tokenization of digital and real-world assets within the European Union. With its own TokenSuite, tokenforge offers a fully EU-compliant infrastructure for the issuance, management, and settlement of regulated financial products.
Since 2021, the company has successfully completed over 50 tokenization projects across sectors such as real estate, financial services, energy infrastructure, and private equity, and contributed to the first fully digital issuance under Germany’s Electronic Securities Act (eWpG).
