Benjamin Loncarevic
Master’s Student at the University of Applied Science, Berlin

Benjamin Loncarevic is attending the master’s program “Environmental Computer Science” at the University of Applied Science Berlin (Germany) and was also taking part in the SeaLevelR(a)ise project. His academic career
started at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart (Germany) where his
studies revolved around researching the current environmental challenges in
the field of agriculture, bio-based products, and bioenergy. After his
bachelor’s thesis in the field of automation technologies for the agricultural
sector, his interest regarding IT-related topics increased substantially.
This led to him taking part in the SeaLevelR(a)ise project. By co-developing
the donation platform prototype, he acquired a great understanding of the
possibilities that come by using blockchain technologies for modern
problem-solving.
